Important Information
Each year, the Greater Dane Co. Network runs a Math Meet for students in fifth through eighth grades. School districts/students must be a part of the Greater Dane County Advanced Learners Network to participate. Schools form teams that compete at regional meets. Winners from the regional meets advance to the Mega meets.
Math Meet Program Goals:
To stimulate interest in mathematics
To recognize exceptional mathematical talent
To provide a healthy academic environment
Support the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM Standards)
